View of the Empress's Chalet in Compiègne, a wooden and stone building with balcony and slate roof, surrounded by forest and with a horse-drawn carriage to the right. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Boivin in Gournay-en-Bray (Seine-Inférieure), 60-centime postage stamp and Compiègne dispatch postmark of 6 March 1908.
