Description

View of the entrance to a natural cave within a forest, with massive rocks and a dark opening. Printed text on the front referencing a legend stating that, under Louis XV, this cave sheltered a band of brigands who frightened travelers on the road to Paris. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Madame Brugnon' at 'La Sainte-Quille', with a signature 'Julien Haeslof' and a postmarked stamp.
