View of the Rocher d'Avon, nicknamed La Dame-Jane, in the Forest of Fontainebleau, with massive rocks and trees in the background. The reverse side features a handwritten note dated 28 May 1917, addressed to 'M. Comperat', with the inscription 'Bon souvenir et cordiale poignée de main'.
