View of a tree-lined path leading to a lake, with an inscription at the top indicating 'La Bretagne Pittoresque 1766, Forest of Paimpont — Le Pas du Houx'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Madame Rempel, Boulevard de la Liberté, Rennes', dated 8 July 1909, with a 10-centime postmark and a Rennes cancellation stamp.
