View of the Forest Ranger House of Haie Labbé in the Valley of the Chavons, deep in the mountain forest, with a dirt road, a overturned bicycle in the foreground and a cart in the background. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated August 20, 1918, addressed to Mr. Chefran, Montming canton, and a postmark canceled with the date 21/4/4 (probably 1914).
