View of the ruins of Fort de Souville, with its arched entrance and destroyed structures, surrounded by a mountainous landscape and wooden fencing. The reverse indicates that the fort was bombed on June 15, 1916, and attacked by the German division on June 23, 1916, followed by unsuccessful assaults on July 11 and 12, 1916. The publisher is the Ossuaire de Douaumont, in Nancy, and reproduction is prohibited.
