Description

Black and white view of a ruined fort with an arched entrance and destroyed structures, surrounded by hilly terrain and fences. On the back, printed text describes the German bombardments of June 15, 1916, and unsuccessful attacks on July 11 and 12, 1916, with a circular postmark 'OSSUAIRE de DOUAUMONT (Meuse)' and mention of exclusive ownership by the Ossuaire Committee.
