View of the Porte Notre-Dame in Fougères, a fortified gate dating from the 12th and 15th centuries, with a paved path in the foreground and a tree in the background. Reverse: printed text describing the feudal castle as a classified site, addressed to Mme S. Guineville in Saint-Lô (Manche), with a violet stamp and two circular cancellations from Fougères dated 8 June 1933.
