Description

Marble fountain from the school of Giovanni Bologna, displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The printed text indicates that it was originally located in the Palazzo della Stufa in Florence and that the central figure is inspired by the one by Sansovino at the Bargello, dated around 1600. Reverse: space for correspondence and address, historical text on the origin and dimensions (H. 9 ft, diam. 5 ft 9 in).
