Sepia-toned panoramic view of the harbor at Fowey, with numerous sailboats and sailing vessels in the water, bordered by houses along the shore. The printed text at the bottom indicates 'Fowey From Hall Walk'. On the reverse, a handwritten violet inscription notes that the senders are staying with their cousin in Newton (Cornwall), near Plymouth, and compare Fowey to the French city of Brest.
