View of an oued (watercourse) crossing a lush oasis in Gabes, bordered by palm trees and a steep bank, with a person in local attire standing to the left. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Villette in Toulouse, dated April 11, 1935, with a green 5-centime stamp and a postmark from Béja, Tunisia.
