Description

Postcard showing the castle of Gacé with a round tower and stone buildings, surrounded by trees. Printed red text relates the history of the castle: it was already a stronghold in 944 and was captured by the English in 1148. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. Jouini in Bernay, with a 5-centime postage stamp and cancellation 'GACÉ 20 JUIN 1920'.
