Description

Black and white view of the medieval castle of Gand, surrounded by a water moat reflecting its towers and ramparts. Printed text at the bottom: 'Gand. The Castle of the Counts.' On the reverse, a red Belgian 10-centime postmark dated April 1st, 1907, a Gand dispatch stamp, and a handwritten address to Madame Arondel in Verdun, France, with the inscription 'Cordial handshake' at the bottom left.
