Aerial view of Gap, in the Hautes-Alpes, with its rooftops and church in the foreground, and snow-capped mountains in the background. The back has handwritten text dated 13 June 1931, addressed to Machere, mentioning arrival in Gap and departure for Eugène. A 'INDRE' postmark is affixed at the top right.
