View of 'George Sand's Bath' in Gargilesse, with a commemorative monument on the banks of a river surrounded by rocks and forest. The reverse has handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Borrel in Paris, mentioning the monument erected in memory of the Countess of Gargilesse, who died 20 years ago, and an 8-centime postage stamp with a Gargilesse (Indre) postmark of August 22, 1905.
