Description

Postcard showing men in traditional Falaise costumes, some carrying lanterns, in front of wooden and brick buildings. Printed text at the bottom: 'NOTICE. — It is hereby made known to each of you residing in the good town of Falaise that it is forbidden to go out at night without a lantern in hand...'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. Monticieux, a military nurse at the military hospital of Verrai (Seine and Oise).
