Black and white view of the Great Cascade of Gavarnie, 422 meters high, surrounded by rocky cliffs and snow. Printed text at the top and bottom of the image. Reverse: 15-centime French postage stamp, postmark from Lourdes dated 19 October 1930, handwritten address to Madame Maublant in Paris, and mention of 'Correspondence' and 'Visit Lourdes'.
