Description

Black and white view of the Great Cascade of Gavarnie, with a snowy mountainous landscape and rocky peaks in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1908, addressed to Mrs. Dufour in Paris, mentioning that the travelers were tired but the landscapes were magnificent. A 18-centime postage stamp is affixed, with a cancellation from Gavarnie.
