Panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees range, highlighting the Helmet and Roland's Gap in Gavarnie, on the Spanish side. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 9, 1911, addressed to Madame Lapardris in Rouen, with a 10-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from Sainte-Inforière.
