Description

Black and white view of the Chaos canyon in Gavarnie, with steep rocky cliffs and a winding path between the rocks. Printed text at the bottom: '19 GAVARNIE - Le Chaos'. On the reverse, a green 20-centime stamp of the French Republic, postmark of 'HAUTE-GARONNE' dated August 27, 1908, and handwritten address to 'Monsieur et Madame Chavan' at 'Castaillage'.
