Description

Panoramic view of the Cirque de Gavarnie, with its imposing cliffs and waterfalls, in the Pyrenees. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 13/8/1929, addressed to a recipient in Toulouse, mentioning a trip to the Mediterranean and a letter to Montpellier. A postage stamp is affixed, with a cancellation mark of 'Biv. VERGEZ - GAVARNIE' dated 30 August 1929.
