Description

View of the Gorge des Roitelets in Gérardmer, with a small wooden bridge crossing a rocky bed and a stream. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated August 13, 1914, sent from Gérardmer to Maurice E. Canavy in Carcassonne, with a mention of the war and a request for information about the border.
