Black and white view of a winding road bordered by dense forests, with a rocky slope on the right and a stone wall on the left. Printed text at the bottom: 'LA ROUTE DE LA SCHLUCHT'. On the reverse, handwritten address to 'Mademoiselle Mathilde Descarcelle, 7 Rue Montblanc, Paris', with a 5 centime green stamp and cancellation stamp 'GÉRARDMER 20 JUIN 1908'.
