View of Gérardmer Lake with two people in a canoe near the rocky shore, surrounded by forests and mountains. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 17 August 1913 sent from Gérardmer to Madame Paussionnier in Villemomble (Seine), with a 5-centime postmark and a dispatch stamp.
