Religious illustration showing Jesus as a consoler helping a soldier in uniform in a devastated war landscape. Printed text at the bottom: 'Gesù guida e Consolatore'. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 18 July 1919, addressed to 'Mes Chers Parents', mentioning a letter from Paul and correspondence with the government. Italian postage stamp canceled in Milan.
