Description

Colored postcard depicting four climbers ascending a glacier in 1904, with multilingual inscriptions (German, French, Italian). On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 15, 1904, sent from Grenoble, recounts a train journey to the Col du Géant, then on foot to the Col de Géant, with a three-hour ascent in the Swiss mountains. 10-centime stamp of the French Republic and a Grenoble postmark.
