Description

Patriotic postcard from World War I depicting a woman in an antique costume holding a sword, with printed text 'Glory to the Heroes. This sword is in good hands! Forward! and on with the Germans!'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 12, 1915, addressed to 'Madame', expresses feelings of confidence and hope for peace, with a mention of 'Charleroi' and 'the Church'.
