Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Grande-Chartreuse convent, nestled in a mountain valley surrounded by forests and rocky peaks. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated June 1, 1924, sent from Grenoble, mentioning a visit to the convent and a meeting with Madame Minier, as well as the publisher 'La Cigogne' and a 1924 postmark.
