Description

Stone statue of Honoré Fragonard (1732-1800), sculpted by Auguste Maillard, depicting the painter seated with a basket of flowers and a child on his shoulders, under a tree. The base bears the inscription 'HONORE FRAGONARD 1732-1800'. On the reverse, the publisher is 'Rostan et Manier, Éditions d'art, 39 rue Marceau, Nice'.
