Panoramic view of Grasse taken from the Casernes, with the rooftops and buildings of the village below, framed by bare trees. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 24/2/17 addressed to Mrs. Mathieu in Paris, with a 40 centimes postage stamp and a postmark from the « Cité des Parfums Climatique » in Grasse.
