Black and white aerial view of the Strand in London, around 1920, showing a lively street with period vehicles, pedestrians, and commercial buildings such as 'Under Twine' and 'The Wellington Lounge'. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated October 27, 1927, signed 'D. M.' states that the sender, from Woking, does not have 'Leicester Square' postcards but is sending this one of 'The Strand' and 'The Tower'.
