Description

Black and white view of the Grande Chartreuse convent nestled in a mountain valley, with snow-capped peaks in the background. The reverse features a handwritten affectionate message addressed to 'Mademoiselle Mère' in Le Puy (Savoy), with a 12-centime postmark dated October 15, 1915, canceled in Saint-Florentin.
