Colorized view of the suspension bridge over the Rhône in Grenoble, with buildings along the banks and mountains in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Paris, dated August 17, 1938, sent from Grenoble, mentioning a pension in Saint-Eynard and a stay at the Chartreuse.
