Description

Black and white view of the Sierroz Falls in Grésy-sur-Aix, with a boat crossing the waterfall. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Madame B.R. Leconte in Paris, mentioning the boat 'Christophe Colomb' and the passage through the gorges. A 10 centime postmark and a Grésy-sur-Aix (Savoie) dispatch stamp dated April 4, 1904.
