Description

Postcard showing a commemorative monument with two soldiers in uniform on a rock, located in a wooded park. The printed text mentions the Battle of Spicheren on August 6, 1870. On the reverse, handwritten text addresses the card to Mr. and Mrs. Walther in Paris, with a red 10 pfennig postmark and a cancellation from Petits-Mahne dated October 14, 1902.
