Colorized view of the Market Square in Mainz, with the Market Fire in the center, surrounded by historic buildings and pedestrians. The back has a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Noaïrieu Lempreure in Lagny, France, with a 20 pfennig stamp and a Mainz postmark dated 9-3-1913.
