Night view of the Castle of Mainau Island, with a visible moon in the sky and a small cabin by the water. Printed text at the bottom: 'Greetings from Mainau Island.' and '921 m'. Reverse: red Reichspost stamp, Konstanz (Zug 474) dispatch postmark from 27.4.98, recipient to St. Gallen, handwritten address to 'Johanna Viktoria Borel' at 'Dorf Hohenschwab' and signature 'H. Tournier'.
