View of the Saint-Michel Gate in Guérande, built in the 15th century by Jean V, Duke of Brittany, and recently restored. Above the gate, a large cartouche with the coat of arms of Guérande (silver shield with ermine spots supported by crowned lions). Reverse: publisher F. Chapeau, Nantes, with space for address and printed text 'POSTCARD'.
