View of the Porte Saint-Michel in Guérande, built by Jean V, Duke of Brittany, with restored towers currently serving as town hall and museum. Above the gate, a large cartouche with the arms of Guérande, a silver escutcheon with hatching supported by crowned lions. Reverse: postcard published by F. Chapeau, Nantes, with space for address and handwritten 'HY' at the top left.
