View of the Porte Saint-Michel in Guérande, built by Jean V, Duke of Brittany, with its towers recently restored and now serving as the town hall and prison. Above the gate, a cartouche displays the silver coat of arms of Guérande, supported by crowned lions. Reverse: publisher F. Chapeau, Nantes, with space for address and printed text 'CARTE POSTALE'.
