On the reverse, the publisher is identified as 'Photographer Marcel Dallon - Bordeaux', with the inscription '238. - GUÉTHARY. - IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY. Mourning Costume. M. D.' and a handwritten address to 'Monsieur Adrien Bataille in Haroie (Gujarizie)'. A 25-centime postage stamp is affixed with a cancellation from Bayonne dated May 15, 1934.
