Description

View of the Hautecombe Abbey in Savoy, with its church and cloister by a lake, surrounded by hills. The printed text mentions its foundation in 1125, its burial chapel for Dukes and Counts of Savoy, and its 300 remarkable statues. On the back, a handwritten correspondence dated July 1926 addressed to Mademoiselle Bertheau in Antony, with a French postage stamp from 1926 and a cancellation.
