Black and white view of a mountainous canyon with a winding road and an isolated house at the bottom of the valley. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1952 from Hauteville-Lompnès (Ain) to Madame Jeanne in Enghien-les-Bains, with a 12-centime French postage stamp and a handwritten inscription 'Respectful Memories of Holidays'.
