Description

Black and white view of the old town of Heidelberg, featuring the famous Alte Brücke (old bridge) spanning the Neckar River, with the castle (Schloss) dominating the hill in the background. The reverse has a handwritten inscription dated July 14, 1916, addressed to 'Pavon 4, Bergon Way, Heimacrest, 89 m', and a German postage stamp canceled 'HEIDELBERG 9-10 W' with the note 'Reichsfeiertage' (Imperial Holidays).
