On the reverse, handwritten address to Mr. Robert Grou, Corporal in the 13th Infantry Regiment, Camp de Mourmelon (Marne), dated July 15, 1914, with a postmark from 'BÉNÉSSE-MARENNES (Landes)' and an inscription 'No inscriptions are allowed on the front side of the card'.
