Black and white view of a turbulent river dotted with rocks, with a small building and trees in the background, in front of mountains. Printed text at the bottom indicates 'Hendaye and its surroundings'. On the reverse, a French postcard dated 1915, franked with two 5-cent stamps, with a postmark from 'PARMENTIÈRE' (Nord) and addressed to 'Mademoiselle Parmentière' in Lille. The handwritten message is partially legible.
