Description

Five musicians in traditional Hessian costumes, with checkered clothing and yellow-buttoned shoes, playing various brass instruments on a paved sidewalk. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates 'Hessische Trachten'. The reverse has a handwritten address to Mr. Johan Massoy in Bury-sur-Seine (France), a date '26 February 1917', and mentions 'Kunstverlag Gust. Lauterbach, Hessen' as well as 'Hessische Trachten - Series 7'.
