Scene of young girls in traditional costumes in a loggia in Häerdt, with a view of timber-framed houses and a church in the background. Reverse: handwritten letter dated May 28, 1878, addressed to Madame in Obernai, mentioning the charm of old France and memories of the apartment. Postmark and cancellation from Dornach visible.
