Portrait of a young woman in 18th century Norman costume, wearing a white hat with a green ribbon and dressed in a pink embroidered bodice and a black apron. Printed text at the bottom: 'History of Costume in Normandy. Young woman from HONFLEUR (late 18th century). Ancient hairstyles and costumes from the Louveau Collection.' Reverse: handwritten address to M. Eug. de Maniry, Bronville, with a French postage stamp and partial cancellation.
