Color illustration of the astronomical clock in Beauvais, 12 meters high, with 52 dials representing astronomical phenomena and the times of cities around the world, and a mechanism of 90,000 parts wound once every 100 years. Back: handwritten note dated June 22, 1949, mentioning a walk in Beauvais with 'La Landelle Saller', and publisher's stamp 'Cie des Arts Photographiques - Strasbourg - Paris'.
